Descripción
La osteosíntesis es un tratamiento quirúrgico de fracturas, en el que éstas son reducidas y fijadas en forma estable. Para ello se utiliza la implantación de diferentes dispositivos tales como placas, clavos, tornillos, alambre, agujas y pines, entre otros.
